MuniVendor Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: July 9, 2026
MuniVendor is committed to making our website and platform usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to recognized accessibility standards and to continually improve the accessibility of our digital experiences.
Standards we follow
We self-evaluate our public website against the following standards and guidelines:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility published by the W3C.
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act — the U.S. federal standard for accessibility of electronic and information technology.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — we design our public-facing digital properties to support equal access for people with disabilities.
This statement reflects our current self-assessment. It is not a third-party certification or legal guarantee of compliance.
What we do to support accessibility
- Provide a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Use semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, section, footer) so assistive technologies can navigate the page efficiently.
- Ensure all images include descriptive alt text or are marked as decorative when appropriate.
- Design interactive elements with visible keyboard focus indicators and sufficient color contrast.
- Label form fields clearly and indicate required fields with both visual and screen-reader accessible markers.
- Build FAQ disclosure widgets using native
<details>and<summary>elements for broad assistive-technology support. - Test pages with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard navigation.
Known limitations and ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. While we strive to meet the standards above across all public pages, we recognize that issues can arise as content and features change. We review new pages and components before they are published and address reported issues promptly.
Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We take feedback seriously and will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
